Mukund Laddha of Music Perk said, "Amit Trivedi adds another feather in his hat with this album. The music album of Aisha has a jazzy song in its title track which is surely one of best songs of 2010 along with "Gal Mitthi Mitthi". None of the other songs create any interest though. The background music of this movie is praiseworthy. It is surely one album that you can to check out."
Haydon was spotted by Anil Kapoor in a coffee shop and soon her agent received a phone call for a role in the ensemble romantic comedy-drama Aisha, alongside Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Ira Dubey, Cyrus Sahukar, Amrita Puri, Anand Tiwari and Arunoday Singh.[citation needed] The film, directed by Rajshree Ojha was loosely based on the Jane Austen's novel Emma and its Hollywood adaptation Clueless; she portrayed Aarti Menon, a New-York returned, white-collared, corporate yuppie and friend/colleague of Deol's character, Arjun Burman. After signing the movie, she went to New York City for three months to learn method acting and also received classes on diction in Mumbai.[5][6]In 2014, Haydon appeared in the coming-of-age dramedy Queen alongside Kangana Ranaut. She played Vijayalakshmi, a single mother who has a child out of wedlock. Haydon's performance was extensively praised by critics; Devesh Sharma wrote that she "gives a class act", whilst Rajeev Masand said that she "is a complete revelation in the role of Rani's bohemian Parisian pal, investing the character with both sultriness and genuine affection."[13][14] The film earned unanimous critical acclaim and was also a box office hit.[15][16] Her latest release was The Shaukeens, a remake of the 1982 film Shaukeen opposite Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra. It was released on 7 November 2014. It took a decent start at the box-office with positive reviews and ended up being an average performer.[17]Lisa Haydon was also a part of Karan Johar's film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

Definitely the least well-known Emma movie adaptation, at least among English-speaking audiences, is 2010's Aisha, a Bollywood production. Directed by Rajshree Ojha, Aisha is a bit of a strange animal when it comes to Emma movies, as it's actually not an adaptation of Austen's story in the more direct sense of that word. Instead, Aisha is basically an Indian remake of Clueless, and sports very close similarities to that 1995 western hit. The central character, a young woman named Aisha Kapoor (played by Sonam Kapoor), is a clear stand-in for Alicia Silverstone's Cher, complete with her love of being a matchmaker.
If a killer mystery thriller is what you are after, give serious consideration to Kahaani. Co-written, produced, and directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie follows the life of a pregnant woman (Vidya Bagchi), showcasing her endless struggle to find her missing husband.Apart from Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also played a significant role in the movie. It won critical acclaim for exploring themes of feminism and motherhood in a society largely dominated by males. Moreover, the screenplay and cinematography also received high praise for being classy.Watch the trailer hereCheck out Kahaani on Netflix28. Haseen Dillruba (2021)IMDb Rating: 7/10
